We can say 2013 is an year of redesigns and also Facebook comes with a new and fresh redesign. This is probably the biggest and most important change made in the Facebook version of the web.
At the event CEO Mark Zuckeberg says – It’s focusing on three things
- Rich stories that are visually engaging.
- Choice of different feeds and dig into any topic you want.
- Mobile consistency that shares the same experience across different platforms.
In the new Facebook, newsfeed is available from a list on the right. The chat has been moved left, along with all the other options for pages, settings, etc. The only constant is the area of notifications which is still in the upper right corner.
But, Anyone noticed they said nothing about ticker, may be Zuck killed Ticker.
In addition to a single Newsfeed they added four different feeds,
All Friends – a feed that shows you everything your friends are sharing
Photos – a feed with nothing but photos from your friends and the Pages you like
Music – a feed with posts about the music you listen to
Following – a feed with the latest news from the Pages you like and the people you follow.
How to Activate or Enable New News feed ?
Unfortunately, the new newsfeed will be available in a few initially. Facebook has created a waiting list for those wanting to try out the new design. For those who are curious to checkout whats new in this redesign, head over to this link-
Scroll to bottom and click on “Join Waiting List” button and Wait, wait, wait…
Dis you get the revamped News Feed? Also, I’m in waiting list.
I personally like the new design and hope all users will like the changes. Hope all will get this soon…
