Although DASH aims to help speed up downloads and make them more efficient, it also tends to slow down operating performance while using even the fastest of Internet connections.

In YouTube settings page you can find an option called “I have a slow connection. Never play higher-quality video” If you enable this, YouTube automatically optimises videos according to your internet speed.
To enable this head over to Settings → Playback → Check the button under “Video Playback Quality. or just open this https://www.youtube.com/account_playback

Once you installed the extension you can see some additional option below your video.
