Battle games are quite popular these days, with the arrival of PUBG and Fortnite, both have managed to get millions of active users.
Are you a fan of Call of Duty PC version? If yes the mobile version of the phone awaits you. Recently, Tencent has officially made Call Of Duty Mobile available to some of those who opted for preregistered for beta testing.
However, since the developers are rolling out access invites to only some people at a time, chances are you’ve not received access to the game from the Play Store yet. That’s what happened with me as well. However, if you really want to try the game out, you can do that pretty easily. So, here’s how to install and play Call of Duty Mobile on any Android phone.
Steps To Install Call Of Duty Mobile On Any Android Phone
The installation is a little more complex than just installing an APK. I would recommend you to please follow the below steps.
Step 1: the Call of Duty Mobile APK from APK Mirror and install it.
Step 2: Next, head over to this link, and download the ZIP file. This is the OBB file you need to run the game on your phone.
Step 3: Once you’ve downloaded the file, unzip the ZIP file you downloaded in the last step and extract the folder to “Android/obb” using the file manager of your choice.
This game has been developed by Tencent, who also helped create PUBG Mobile, so you will notice quite a few similarities between the two. ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’ is essentially still in a beta stage and you will notice bugs and server issues, which will be ironed out over time. We tested the game and it does seem promising. It was also much easier than PUBG but that is probably because of a high number of bots in the opposite team owing to fewer players. Good time to quickly practice and be ahead of the curve before they get access to the game.
